Dek-King Superyacht release approved synthetic teak helipad surface

Wilks is proud to reveal the release of a new synthetic teak helipad surface as part of their Dek-King Superyacht brand.

The helipad surface will be debuted by Dek-King Superyacht at this year’s Monaco Yacht Show from the 26 – 29 September, in Port Hercules, Monaco.

This new synthetic teak helipad surface seamlessly compliments Dek-King 2G premium synthetic teak, allowing helipads to become a true design feature. Featuring the same premium lifelike graining as Dek-King 2G, the surface is available in a choice of custom plank and caulking colours.

The approved surface passed the UK CAA CAP 437 Fixed Platform test for Helipad’s earlier this month.

Chris Berry, Joint Managing Director for Wilks comments: “We are delighted the surface has passed the fixed platform test for helipads. This opens the design possibilities to our clients, allowing us to create the finest custom decks with no limitations.”

Dek-King Superyacht offers a bespoke decking service exclusive to the superyacht market. Creating luxury decks for larger vessels and tenders, designed to be as unique as the crafts they are fitted to.
